To give you an idea of just how much of a geek I really am, I’ve spent the last 10 days re-writing / re-coding the theme for this site. It’s one of those things that tends to drive my wife nuts. I guess that I’m a geek perfectionist. So shoot me.
Seriously, some of the code needed to be optimized, re-written, etc, just to make it a little faster, and there were some things I originally had in the theme that needed to be removed, updated, or changed to make the theme compatible with WordPress 2.7 which is due out November 24.
Speaking of WordPress 2.7, there are some significant changes, especially with the comment section, that is going to take a major rewrite of some of the themes that I’ve created in the past to make them take full advantage of all the features in WordPress 2.7. I’ll probably explore some of those changes, in detail, in a later post, but right now I really need to upload the new theme.
