I’ve been working on getting everything ready, which unfortunately includes a lot of editing of the theme code since there are features that I cannot use until there are a few more posts on the site…
It’s been rather fun really trying to decide what I’m going to include on this site, since, the more geekary the better, so to speak.
It’s too bad that you can’t see some of the underlying code for the theme since quite a bit of it is hand-coded by “yours truly”, but I’ll probably end up posting snippets of it from time to time. The theme is mostly based off of the default WordPress theme, which if you know anything about WordPress, is the infamous Kubrick theme.
Although most of the theme changes have to do with starting with a blank stylesheet, there have been several changes to almost every one of the theme files.
So since I started with Kubrick and didn’t create the complete theme myself, you could say that I’m only a partial WordPress geek.

And this comment shows just how much I succumb to geekary, because I really need to make sure the comments look right. So I’m responding to my own post to test it.
In a way it’s too funny.
Ok. It looks right to me. So now it’s time to actually start working on some posts…
Any suggestions?
Not to mention that since I’m not a “creative genius”, I did “borrow” some of the design ideas for this theme from several different sites…
If anyone wants to know, I’ll post the links.
Is commenting on your own posts like talking to yourself? If so, I’m in deep…
